Per MARS' privacy policy, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA):
Personal information provided to MARS by an individual, such as name, phone number, address or email address, will be:
- used only for the purpose for which it was provided (examples: to enter a contest, participate in an online forum, make a donation, request to be put on a newsletter mailing list, ask questions of MARS);
- kept strictly confidential, and not disclosed to anyone without the individual's consent other than staff and volunteers who need the information to complete his or her request
